I'm Peter Clauter, PMHNP-BC. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin, and before that, a degree in mechanical engineering. I spent years working with kids and teens in community psychiatry before opening Peak Mind, and I still believe the best psychiatric care happens when the prescriber knows the kid, knows the family, and picks up the phone when the therapist calls.

Outside of work I cook, travel, and dance West Coast Swing badly enough to keep it humble.
